BANK OF AMERICA CHAMPIONSHIP RENEWS
PRESENTING SPONSORSHIP OF GOLF EXPO BOSTON

First 500 show spectators each day receive ticket to tournament

Feb. 26, 2006:

CONCORD, Mass. - The Bank of America Championship has renewed its presenting sponsorship of the National Golf Expo taking place in Boston's Bayside Expo Center the weekend of March 3-5.

The show features 180,000 square feet of exhibits and displays, providing men, women, juniors, beginners, avid and casual golfers alike with"the total golf experience."

As a presenting sponsor, the tournament occupies lead exhibitor space just inside the main entrance to Bayside where the first 500 spectators each day, Friday, March 3, Saturday, March 4, and Sunday, March 5, will receive a free ticket to the tournament. Spectators also will be able to purchase tournament tickets, get the latest information on tournament week activities and player commitments, enter a putting contest to win tickets to the event and sign up to volunteer at the tournament, an unparalleled opportunity for golf fans to get inside the game.

The 2006 Bank of America Championship, which takes place June 5-11 at Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord, is the only place in New England where golf fans can enjoy Champions Tour golf with its highly competitive spirit and fan friendly environment.

Early player commitments to this year's tournament include defending champion Mark McNulty, 2005 Champions Tour Player of the Year Dana Quigley and 2003 Bank of America Championship winner Allen Doyle. Other top players expected to compete include Tom Kite, Gary McCord, Larry Nelson, Tom Purtzer, Curtis Strange, Craig Stadler and Lee Trevino.

This year's Bank of America Championship also will feature the Swing with the Legends tournament within a tournament that will showcase 12 of baseball's greatest legends competing alongside the Champions Tour pro golfers. Spectators also can expect a full slate of tournament week activities, like pro/fan clinics, an expanded family fun zone, Bank of America Kids' Clinic, and Champions Tour interactive fan favorites like the gallery in the fairway.
