BANK OF AMERICA TO BRING BEN HOGAN'S LEGACY TO THE 2005 BANK OF AMERICA CHAMPIONSHIP

"Hogan's Alley" Makes New England and Champions Tour Debut
BOSTON, MA - Bank of America today announced that "Hogan's Alley" - the
company's unique, traveling hospitality experience - will be making its
New England debut this week when it visits the Bank of America
Championship (June 20-26) at Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord,
Massachusetts. This is one of 16 stops it will make on the 2005 PGA
TOUR, and its first stop ever on the Champions Tour.
Hogan's Alley celebrates the legacy of legendary golfer Ben Hogan, and is named after the nickname for his home course at the Colonial Country Club in Fort Worth, Texas, where the Bank of America Colonial golf tournament is played. The traveling venue is a one-of-a-kind, world-class hospitality experience that entertains invited Bank of America clients and guests in a themed environment, and allows visitors to step back in time to the golden era of golf. Modeled after the interior of a 1950-era golf clubhouse, Hogan's Alley includes hardwood panel interior walls, vintage leather couches, help desk and concierge services, and a museum-like collection of historical PGA TOUR tournament and player mementos and vintage Ben Hogan golf memorabilia.
"Ben Hogan symbolizes the rich heritage and values shared by our company: hard work, integrity, excellence, and setting higher standards. This venue demonstrates those values," said Jane Magpiong, president, Bank of America Massachusetts. "We are looking forward to sharing this world-class golf experience with our customers and the Massachusetts community."
Hogan won the Colonial tournament five times, plus nine major championships and 49 other PGA TOUR event titles. This year marks the 52nd anniversary of the "Hogan Slam," when he won the Colonial and the first three legs of golf's Grand Slam: the Masters, U.S. Open and the British Open, all in the same year, 1953. He remains the only player to have accomplished this feat.
Since launching Hogan's Alley in 2003, Bank of America has hosted more than 25,000 clients and guests from throughout the country, and has continued to make improvements to the experiential hospitality program.
For the 2005 season, Bank of America enhanced Hogan's Alley to include additional brand elements and memorabilia, web-enabled kiosks with interactive golf trivia and games, and a computer-driven registration process for easy check-in.
Hogan's Alley will make 16 stops in 2005 at the following PGA TOUR events: Buick Invitational (January 17-23); FBR Open (January 31-February 6); AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am (February 7-13); Nissan Open (February 14-20); Ford Championship at Doral (February 28-March 6); The Bay Hill Invitational (March 14-20); THE PLAYERS Championship (March 21-27); MCI Heritage (April 11-17); Shell Houston Open (April 18-24); Wachovia Championship (May 2-8); Bank of America Colonial (May 16-22); Booz Allen Classic (June 6-12); Bank of America Championship (June 20-26); Cialis Western Open (June 27-July 3); Michelin Championship Las Vegas International (October 10-16); and The TOUR Championship (October 31-November 6).
