CHAMPIONS TOUR WIVES LAUNCH 'BE A CHAMPION' FUNDRAISING INITIATIVE

MA) - Champions Tour Wives, Inc. will launch its "Be a Champion!"
fundraising initiative this week at the Bank of America Championship at
Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord, MA. The Champions Tour Wives will
sell wristbands to generate funds to support various womens and
children's charities around the country.
The wristbands will be sold in the merchandise tent throughout tournament week (June 20-26). The wristbands will be available in two color combinations, royal/lime and pink/turquoise, and in small and large sizes.
"We want the wristbands to appeal to all generations. All of us can think like a champion, live like a champion and be a champion for charity!" said Sue Stadler, vice president of Champions Tour Wives, Inc, and wife of Bank of America Championship defending champion, Craig Stadler. "The funds generated from wristband sales will be used to support women's and children's charities in the different tournament cities we visit."
After the Bank of America Championship launch, the wristbands will be available at many other Champions Tour tournament sites throughout the rest of the season. They are also available for purchase online.
Champions Tour Wives, Inc. began in 1995 with a mission to helping others through organizations that promote assistance to and benefit women, their families and their many different needs. Since it inception Champions Tour Wives, Inc. has raised more than $2 million for over 50 charities across the nation. In addition to fundraising activities, the Champions Tour Wives also make charity visits in the communities where Champions Tour events are held. Their activities range from reading to children in schools to rocking babies in hospital nurseries.
