NEW DATES SET - 26TH ANNUAL BANK OF AMERICA CHAMPIONSHIP TO TAKE PLACE AT NASHAWTUC COUNTRY CLUB, JUNE 5-11, 2006

Oct. 19, 2005:

The twenty-sixth annual PGA TOUR's Champions Tour Bank of America Championship is set to take place June 5-11, 2006, at Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord, the tournament's home since 1984.

The Bank of America Championship continues to provide spectators with one of the most fan- friendly and interactive environments in professional sports, according to tournament director Tracy West, "and long-time tournament supporters will notice that we're a couple of weeks earlier in June than we've become accustomed because of overall Tour scheduling, but we expect our field to be as strong as ever and our tournament week as full of activities as ever."

She added that the tournament remains committed to providing competitive excellence, great entertainment, a valuable game-improvement platform, sportsmanship and a commitment to give back to local charities.

Slated to play the 2006 tournament will be defending champion Mark McNulty, who also won the 2005 Administaff Small Business Classic. McNulty was born in Zimbabwe, lives in England and represents Ireland. He has won five Champions Tour events and holds 55 international titles. He also has weathered several physical injuries in his career, including facial injuries from a car wreck in 1980, a nerve injury in his neck playing cricket in 1993 and a knee injury that curtailed his 1995 season, but still has managed to rank number three on this year's Champions Tour money list.

Number one on that list, and also expected to play, will be local favorite and Champions Tour ironman Dana Quigley, who got his start on the Champions Tour with a sponsor exemption at the 1997 Bank of America Championship. Another local favorite, Allen Doyle, winner of the 2003 Bank of America Championship, also is expected to be among the Champions Tour's top players competing in the 78-player field at the 2006 tournament.

Tournament week will include its traditional assortment of pro-ams, pro clinics, putting contests, family fun zone and other activities, and interactive fan favorites, like gallery in the fairway, honorary observer, on-course player interviews and behind-the-scenes tours will be back.
