Volunteer Information
The Champions Tour continues to be alive and well in New England. Mark your calendars for June 16 - 22, 2008 to "Get Inside the Game" with the Bank of America Championship! No experience is necessary to volunteer for the Bank of America Championship. We only request that you love the game of golf. In 2007, we had over 1,400 volunteers participate in the Bank of America Championship. We hope that you will join our team for June 2008.
Volunteer applications and registration will continue until June 6th. No volunteer applications will be received online after this date! Please call the tournament office at (978) 266-0266 or e-mail us to be added to the volunteer application mailing list.
The Premium Volunteer Package includes the following:
- One (1) golf shirt
- One (1) outerwear piece (or a second shirt, or one (1) round of golf at Stow Acres CC)
- One (1) baseball hat, visor or straw hat ($6 extra)
- One (1) volunteer parking pass
- One (1) volunteer badge (good for entry to event all seven (7) days)
- Lunch vouchers on workdays
- Five (5) extra "good-any-day" tickets
- One (1) invitation to the volunteer party
- Subscription to GOLF MAGAZINE
A one-year subscription to GOLF MAGAZINE (12 issues valued at $10) is included with your Bank of America Championship volunteer fee payment! Offer valid in US or Canada only. One per household. This is a refundable offer by GOLF MAGAZINE. If you do not want to receive the subscription, write "refund" at the top of the order form before mailing.
The Standard Volunteer Package includes the following:
- One (1) golf shirt
- One (1) baseball hat or visor
- One (1) volunteer parking pass
- One (1) volunteer badge (good for entry to event all seven (7) days)

- Available to volunteers ages 14 – 17 and volunteering for the Standard Bearers, Leaderboards and Scoring Runners committees

The total value of the Premium Volunteer Package is over $330. The cost of the Premium Volunteer Package is $60, the Standard Volunteer Package is $35 and the Youth Volunteer Package is $10. In an effort to coordinate the entire Volunteer Corps, volunteers will wear khaki pants or shorts.
Your volunteer fee not only helps to defray the cost of the uniform, but is also a major contributor to our total charitable donation.
Thousands of hours of assistance have been contributed by volunteers in the past for this tournament which features some of the world's most outstanding professional golfers. The tournament benefits such charities as: the Boys and Girls Clubs of Assabet Valley, The Genesis Fund, Emerson Hospital Emergency Services, Hanscom Air Force Base-Project Concern, Greater Waltham Association for Retarded Citizens, Concord-Carlisle Athletic Boosters, Lincoln-Sudbury All Sports Boosters and many more.
